You and your PRD will dive into how to use your Personal Radiation Detector (PRD) and review the basics of radiation.
We are starting with radiation basics and moving toward some of the common misunderstandings. We will discuss where we will find radiation sources, including soil density gauges, radiography cameras, and medical isotopes. We will review our standard safety measures.
We will discuss limits, how to detect radiation, and what your PRD can do for you. We will also discuss advanced equipment and when it is needed.
Lastly, we will review some case studies from radiation incidents and find out how our PRDs can keep us safe.
