Managing a hazardous materials response program requires knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) that program managers need to successfully lead and support their programs. NFPA 475 was written to guide those managing such programs in their efforts. The purpose of this session is to provide attendees with an overview of model program management considerations, skill sets and resources. Using lecture and facilitated discussion, attendees will gain a better understanding of the scope and complexities of managing a hazardous materials response program and share personal experiences so that others may learn.
