Risk-Based Response

This program will define and cover the components risk-based response and the application to the hazardous materials response. The program will cover application to analyses of hazards, selection of personal protective equipment, application of detection, monitoring, and sampling, and mitigation strategies and tactics.

Learning Objectives:

  • The participant will be able to define risk-based response.
  • The participant will be able to define facts, science, and circumstances and their application to responses.
  • The participant will be able to apply risk-based response to initial and continuous response.
