Jason Brezler

Jason Brezler is a FDNY Captain presently assigned to Division 1 in Manhattan. Jason was a firefighter in Rescue Company 2 and a Lieutenant in Squad Co. 252 in Brooklyn. He is a retired U.S. Marine field grade officer and was a combat leader in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Jason is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis. He frequently lectures at the US Naval Academy about human performance under stress and navigating leadership dilemmas in lethal environments. Jason serves as the principal architect for the FDNY’s Mental Performance Initiative (MPI) and is the founder of Leadership Under Fire
