Sloan Grissom is the Emerging Threats Portfolio Manager at Constant Associates, an economically disadvantaged women-owned and 8(a) certified health security, healthcare preparedness, emergency management, and emerging threats consulting firm based out of Torrance, California. Ms. Grissom leads projects across all levels of government to include plan development, training and exercise, marketing and outreach, and staffing projects for healthcare, private sector, nonprofit, first responder, public health, emergency management, and other governmental agencies. Ms. Grissom is a trailblazer in the field of disaster management and implements innovative solutions to the most pressing safety and security risks.
Currently, Ms. Grissom serves as the Outreach Coordinator for the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Interagency Modeling and Atmospheric Assessment Center (IMAAC). IMAAC is a partnership among seven federal agencies and provides a single point of coordination with the federal government during HazMat or CBRNE incidents. IMAAC provides atmospheric dispersion models at no-cost to Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial governmental entities for major HazMat releases posing a threat to responder and civilian health and safety.
