Paul Miller represents Verizon as a Business Continuity Outreach Manager within the Global Event Management Center, conducting outreach and external awareness of Verizon's emergency response capabilities and resiliency and providing support during response and recovery operations. Paul served 25 years as a New Jersey State Trooper. While assigned to the State Office of Emergency Management, Paul served as the State Hazard Mitigation Officer and was appointed four times by the Governor as the State Coordinating Officer for federally declared disasters within the state. Paul responded to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack at World Trade Center Ground Zero and was deployed in 2005 to New Orleans for Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
