Brian Bennett, Ph.D., CFO Brian Bennett has been a volunteer firefighter for 41 years, and is currently serving as Fire Chief in Woodbridge Township, New Jersey. He has held all positions within the department, including six years as Fire Chief. He was Chief of the Township's HAZMAT Unit for 9 years and was Director of the Township Fire Academy for 10 years. He also serves on the NJ Fire Safety Commission Training and Education Committee, Chair of the NJ HAZMAT SME Group, was the Deputy Coordinator of the Edison, NJ Office of Emergency Management. He is a nationally and state certified fire, first aid/CPR, hazardous materials and weapons of mass destruction instructor, and is a contract instructor at the National Fire Academy teaching in the hazardous materials and safety and health programs Dr. Bennett is the author of the textbook Understanding, Assessing, and Responding to terrorism: Protecting Critical Infrastructure and Personnel published by John Wiley and Sons in 2018. Dr. Bennett has earned three engineering degrees, and served as Chair, Chemical Sector Infrastructure Advisory Committee, NJ Domestic Security Task Force from 2003-2008
