My Name is Benjamin Herskowitz, I got started in Emergency Services since the mid-nineties, starting as a Firefighter. For the past 24 years, I have been with the Hazardous Materials Response Team in Lancaster, PA starting as a Hazardous Material/Radiological Specialist before being promoted to Hazardous Materials Team Chief in 2015.
I also has experience in emergency management and currently serve as the Deputy Director for the 6th most populous county in Pennsylvania and managed the county’s radiological response plans for Three Mile Island and Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station.

My Philosophy of Training Emergency Responders:
Mistakes have the power to turn you into something better than you were before. Embrace, not fear opportunities for improvement. Build on them and Climb up.
