Hi, I'm Lt. John Nickles with the Austin Fire Department in Austin, TX. I have been a firefighter with Austin Fire Department for 29 years. I have been with the hazardous materials team sine 1996. I am currently the hazmat training instructor and coordinator for the Austin Fire Department. I am also an instructor at the Center for Domestic Preparedness in Anniston, AL and for the Center for Radiological/Nuclear Training in Las Vegas, NV. I served for 3 years with FEMA Texas A&M Taskforce 1 as a Hazmat Specialist.
