Mr. Emminizer has thirty-four years of emergency services and occupational safety and health experience. His experience includes over twenty years of experience with hazardous materials response and remediation. He is currently the President and Principal Consultant with the Black Sheep Safety Company. A consulting firm providing Safety Engineering and Special Operations Response Consulting and Training to private and public sector clients.

Prior to starting Black Sheep Mr. Emminizer served as Chief of Emergency Operations for the Department of the Environment in Washington, DC. Mr. Emminizer is a past member of the IAFC Hazmat Committee, and also currently serves as a Hazmat and Technical Rescue Instructor for the University of Maryland. He remains active as a Firefighter / EMT with the Middle River Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company in Baltimore County, MD.
