Be ready and prepared to handle anhydrous ammonia incidents by attending this session which will review top ten response tips from size up and product characteristics through response tactics for ammonia. Session will be interactive with live release footage. All students will also receive an ammonia emergency response guide card customized for ammonia. Students will also be able to get up close and personal with an anhydrous ammonia cargo trailer (MC-331) for some valuable hands on training with the Tiger’s Transportation Tank. Get a terrific variety of anhydrous ammonia response information from lecture and hands on training.
Learning Objectives:
Obtain knowledge to make risk based response decisions and determine response tactics involving an ammonia leak or incident, based on ammonia’s characteristics, type of releases being encountered and an assessment of the event.
Obtain knowledge in order to implement basic control and containment options for anhydrous ammonia.
Understand the configuration, recognition, identification, and trouble shooting incidents with highway transportation containers and support resources available.
