EACs are required to follow strict guidelines regarding union jurisdictions. They may hire their own local union personnel to build the booth. All exclusive services must still be completed by the designated official contractor. For insurance and safety reasons, the official contractors designated in the service manual.
International Association of Fire Chiefs, their officers and agents, The Expo Group, the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor and the City of Baltimore must be listed as additional insureds, as respects to claims arising out of the operations of Exhibiting Company at Hazardous Materials Response Teams 2024 in Baltimore, MD June 5-9 (show dates June 6-9 - must include move-in and out dates).
The EAC shall, at its sole cost and expense, procure and maintain through the term of Hazmat 2024 (including move-in and move-out), comprehensive general liability insurance against claims for bodily injury or death and property damage occurring in or upon or resulting from the premises leased by IAFC. Such insurance shall include contractual liability and product liability coverage, with the following limits: (Note: Automobile liability for $1,000,000 is required if exhibitor will be bringing a vehicle onto Convention Center property.)
Workers Compensation and Occupational Disease insurance shall be in full compliance with all federal and state laws, covering all EAC’s employees engaged in the performance of any work for the exhibitor.
